Perfect for quiz nights, family gatherings, and classrooms
Our trivia rounds are popular with pub quiz masters, family hosts, and teachers looking for ready-made rounds that do not need any prep. Pick a category, pick a difficulty, hit print. That is your round sorted. Every quiz comes with a clean answer sheet on a separate page, so the quiz master can keep them hidden until the big reveal. For younger audiences, our family quizzes mix easy general-knowledge questions with fun topics kids recognise. For more seasoned pub-quiz crowds, the general knowledge and true-or-false rounds give a proper challenge.
Tips for running a quiz night
A good quiz night mixes difficulty and topic. Start with a warm-up round that is easy enough for everyone to score on. True-or-false is a perfect opener because there is always a 50/50 chance. Follow with a themed round (movies, music, sport) to hook the specialists, then a harder general-knowledge round to separate the brainiacs from the bluffers. Keep a fun round or a short anagrams sheet in reserve as a tie-breaker. You will need one more often than you think.
If you are running a multiple-choice round, consider removing the answer options on the printed sheet to ramp up the challenge. It is the same questions, just harder to guess. For true-or-false rounds, the opposite trick works: reading each question aloud without the answer removes the 50/50 safety net.
Team names for your quiz night
Half the fun of a pub quiz is the team name. Here are some of our favourites to get you started: The Brainiacs, Les Quizerables, The Quizaders, Know-it-alls, The Boffins, The Quizulators, The Smart Thinkers, Think Smart, The Untouchables, The High Flyers, The Brain Raiders, Grade A Students, Let\'s Get Quizical, Learn-a-lot, Know-a-lot, Challenge The Brain. Pick one, adapt one, or invent your own. Bonus points for a good pun.

The puzzles on BrainTesters are not just entertainment. Each type exercises a different mental muscle. Sudoku trains logical deduction and pattern recognition.
