Countries Word Scramble

Every jumble here is the name of a country. The clues are geography rather than trivia: a border, a coastline, a language count, something about the shape of the place.

The short names come apart quickly, but the eleven-letter ones are a genuine test, because there are simply more ways to arrange the tiles wrongly before the right order appears.

These work well as a classroom warm-up. The print button gives a clean sheet with the answers on a separate page, so a set can be handed out without giving the game away.
